David Mason

Design Operations Director, Nissan Design Europe

David Mason is the Design Operations Director at Nissan Design Europe (NDE). With a background in design engineering for automotive interiors and body systems, David joined NDE in 2004 and has worked on iconic models such as Qashqai and Juke. His role in Perceived Quality (PQ) has transitioned from delivering the traditional elements of PQ, such as construction, material and operation quality to the current trend of enhancing customer interaction through progressive and purposeful concepts that enrich the holistic user experience. David’s current role in NDE is to provide strategic, operational and project leadership to ensure the European studio and all its teams continue to influence and shape Nissan Global design. A life-long learner, David relishes acquiring new knowledge and skills. In his spare time, besides seeking enjoyment on two and four wheels, he takes part in long distance & trail running.
